"If you ask me," Wheatley said as he and Chelldon helped each other through a piece of broken grating that they couldn't manage to find a spot for their portals to stick to, "this is all pretty exciting. No rail, no rules, and out here, he doesn't seem to be able to interfer as much with my networking! I'm never going to be able to plug in again, you realize, but what's a small thing like that for a taste of freedom!?"
Wheatley was incredibly excited. His mood had perked up in the last half an hour or so since GLaDOS had stopped tormenting them in favour of trying to kill them with falling debris.
"And you know what? We can live here forever, me and you. Running our own test chambers outside of test chambers. He can't see us. He's probably not finished taking over all of the systems yet. I mean, obviously he knows where we are but-- HA! HA! Idiot! That missed us too!" he yelled when nearly stomped by a crusher.
